Zsuzsa Blaskó studied Economics and Sociology and did her PhD in Sociology.
She has been a research fellow at DRI since 2002. Her research interests include social inequalities, gender issues and family policy – with a special attention to families with young children.
She was the principal researcher of the Hungarian ISSP Survey on Family and Gender Roles in 2002, a member of the expert team monitoring quality of life in the EU candidate countries and has also worked in the Hungarian Generation and Gender Programme (GGP) team.
Currently she is a member of the EU network of experts on family policies; she is working on the issue of attitudes towards maternal employment in Hungary and she is also the Hungarian coordinator of the FamilyPlatform.
She is expecting her third child right now which almost amounts to doing a participatory research in the field of reconciliation of work and family life.
