Elisa Marchese, Dipl. Soz., (born 1981) studied sociology at the Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg, from where she graduated in April 2009.
During her study years she spent two semesters at the National University of Ireland in Galway and focused on empirical research methods and European social studies.
Since 2009, she has been working as a consultant at xit GmbH in Nuremberg, an enterprise specialised in consulting social sector institutions and organisations, and since January 2010 she has been working as a research scientist at the Institute for Family Research at the University of Bamberg (ifb).
Her research and work interests include both empirical and theoretical issues, especially in the sociology of family and work, in gender and intercultural studies, youth and welfare services and optimisation of organisations, as well as quantitative and qualitative research methods.
