6. Carmen Leccardi is professor of Cultural Sociology at the University of Milan-Bicocca, where she has been appointed by the Rector as scientific coordinator for gender issues. Co-editor (1999-2009) of the Sage journal Time & Society, now consulting editor of the same, she is one of the two vice-president for Europe of the International Sociological Association Research Committee ‘Sociology of Youth’.
   
   Her latest books include Sociologie del tempo (Sociologies of Time), Laterza, 2009 and A New Youth? Young People, Generations and Family Life (edited, with Elisabetta Ruspini), Ashgate, 2006.
