Dr. Marjo Kuronen is a senior lecturer in social work at the University of Jyväskylä, Department of Sciences and Philosophy, but currently on research leave, working as a senior researcher in FAMILYPLATFORM team. She was awarded her PhD at the University of Stirling, UK in 1999.
Her research interests include gendered practices of parenting and post-divorce family relations, feminist issues social work, and qualitative cross-cultural research methodology.
Her recent publications include Feministinen tutkimus ja sosiaalityön tutkimus - kohtaamisia ja kohtaamattomuutta [Feminist research and social work research – encounters and separateness, in M.
