The Forum was established in 1992 with the aim of bringing to the attention of the Italian cultural and political debate the family as a social subject. They believe that the issue is not family a secondary aspect of Italian life is largely in the family who built the destinies of the inhabitants of this country is in the family that form the citizens of tomorrow, is the quality of family life that determines the quality of life of society.

Role within FAMILYPLATFORM:

FDAF is responsible for an international workshop and associated report focused on southern European countries, which will take place during the Lisbon Conference, for work on Existential Field 4: Local Politics - Programmes and Best Practice Models, and jointly responsible (with the Department of Sociology and Social Research, University of Milan-Bicocca) for the 3rd volume of the Online Journal.
