Haro is a Swedish Non Governmental Organisation, working for freedom of choice, equality and parenthood. Haro aims to put the child in focus. This means that family policies must respect the indivdual needs and demands of each family. Parenthood must be defined by freedom of choice and equality. These objectives should be gained in accordance with the UN Convention on the Child's Rights.

Role within FAMILYPLATFORM:

Haro sits on the Advisory Board, which provides supervisory and consultative advice on the scientific quality and policy relevance of the FAMILYPLATFORM.

Jonas Himmelstrand is member of the National Board of Haro.
