    Abstract: This report sets out the current state of research into the quality standards of family-related services over the course of a life-time - for example, a day-care system for children or families counselling - in EU member states. Two aspects are taken into consideration: firstly, the development of quality standards of care facilities in EU member states, including similarities and differences and evaluation standards; secondly, the development of professional standards for care workers in EU member states, including similarities and differences and different types of professional training standard.
